Red Ribbon Week is the nation’s largest drug prevention campaign, started to honor those who have fought against drug misuse and to encourage positive choices that support your goals, health, and future.
This years theme: Life is a puzzle, solve it drug free

I would encourage staff AND students to participate! We know that modeled behavior is important when looking at motivation so let's get our students PUMPED up to participate and have fun next week!!! Talk about it, remind them of the dress up days, hang the flyer in your rooms, etc.

I have attached the dress up days. STUDENTS AND STAFF!!: If you dress up and would like a chance to win a gift card. Every day you dress up, put your name in the bag for a chance to win a gift card!!

I have also attatched the businesses that are honoring Red Ribbon Week! These are businesses in Rapid City who will give discounts to students who bring their Red Ribbon in! Because I have kids who have asked: Yes they have to physically bring in their Red Ribbon for the business to honor it. There are a list of these businesses hanging up around the school as well and I encourage students to take a picture of it so they have it. I will be handing the red ribbons out to students on Monday!
